2 years old!

As a 2 year old little girl, Kaela continues to amaze us each day. She is quite the talker and is putting together long (4-5 words), comprehensible sentences to describe things, tell stories, and express herself. She is very active and loves being introduced to new activities - bouncy houses, play doh, puzzles, arts and crafts, etc. Here is a tribute to some of the things about Kaela I find endearing, things that make me smile, things she says, and just some fun facts about Kaela.
1. When she does something she knows is a bit naughty, she laughs and says "funny funny"
2. crossing her feet at the ankles when she sits to read a book, listens to a story, or plays with a toy in her lap
3. she states exactly what she wants: "I want to share that" while pointing to cookies or "No share Mama" when a boy in music class sits in my lap
4. how she said "Happy Boofthday again" all weekend (and continues to say it when I say "good night" at bedtime)
5. "I did it", "hooray!"
6. how she always wants to help - from doing the laundry or pulling the kitchen stool out and setting it up to help cook, to pushing the vacuum cleaner, getting the mail, and "helping" me put lotion on after a shower
7. taking a shower together
8. how she can describe the Wonder Pets episodes using words like saxophone or iceberg and will answer "teamwork" to the question "What's gonna work?" (and more recently saying "this is sewious")
9. her genuine love for Elmo and Pickles (her penguin)
10. her kisses and hugs
11. how she sings her lullaby with me and says "good night" when it is over
12. "talking" on the phone
13. how she will describe an event even weeks after it occurred (like the butterfly - parpar - landing on her hand or the fly that landed on her arm)
14. saying "cheese" for pictures
15. "dancing" - meaning I hold her in my arms and she bounces up and down or we twirl around - she loves to be dizzy!

These are just a few, but overall it gives you a little peak into her life and shows how she is a precious, smart, and loving little girl (I am biased but it is so true!!). We love you Kaela! Happy Birthday!
