Catching up - long overdue

No excuses but . . . . the week we went to Disneyland was the start of a very long summer for us. Our eventual new house was put on the market just before we left, and 2 weeks later we were in escrow. Between buying the new house, selling our old house, and remodeling parts of the new house, we have been crazily busy. Through it all Kaela has continued to be the remarkable girl she is and had a fun summer nonetheless. She loves her new room (which she got to pick out), the fact that there are multiple levels in the new house, the lawns in the front and backyards as well as the fact that she can play in the street (since the house is on the corner of a court).
