Summer 2011

This summer has brought about a few "firsts" for Kaela. She saw her first movie at the movie theater (and thoroughly enjoyed popcorn with M&Ms sprinkled on top), started sleeping in her new twin bed, got her first set of underwear after a successful weekend of "house arrest" potty training, and went to Cull Canyon (no pictures, but our new favorite spot on the area!). We have also enjoyed her 2nd A's game with her Uncle Adam, during which she learned the rules of baseball ("3 strikes and you go out!"), the Bay Area Discovery Museum, a spontaneous weekend visit by Keren and Ari, a pirate picnic with face-painting, playdates, running around with Bingo, and many bouncy houses (at the Jack London Farmer's Market, the company picnic, and the Art and Wine Festival) - she would bounce for hours if possible!
