6 Months Old

Mommy is going to do this blog . . .
My little girl is 1/2 a year old today! Time has flown by, and every day has been a new adventure with Kaela. She has already filled my life with so much love, joy, and laughter - I feel so lucky to be her Mom! At 6 months she is still working on crawling, but nonetheless has discovered other ways to get where she wants to go. She can sit for a short time on her own if placed in the seated position, and is definitely trying to sit by herself - for now she can get to a semi-seated/leaning position by bracing herself with one hand. She is a fan of rice cereal, is still deciding about avocado, and will try carrots tomorrow. She is very vocal about her likes and dislikes already - she has the "fake" cry down pat, but it works every time :). We are all silly putty in her hands, but would not have it any other way.
